Not Quite Third World

God, it’s so easy to fall into this trap where you think that the technology we have now is the best it will ever be, when in reality there are so many amazing discoveries, even outside of the internet and smartphones and such, that are just around the corner and stand to change our lives drastically for the better.

Honestly, if I didn’t read some tech news once in a while, I’d just want to stab myself 100% of the time.

P.S. All those people that know about cars and engines and whatnot WILL BE OBSOLETE! MY IGNORANCE HAS BECOME FORESIGHT!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!

In the wake of the New York Marriage Equality News (:D), the big story everybody seems to be missing is that the driving force behind marriage equality is one Sandra Lee, girlfriend to Governor Cuomo and host of the food network show that we all love to hate, Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee.

I just want to state, for the record, that I’m very happy that Ms. Lee is a staunch supporter of LGBTQ rights, but also that my dining room table will be tablescaped OVER MY DEAD BODY.

I had a good friend who liked to walk around town, and one day she told me she had been followed by random, creepy men a number of times. I told my other friend, who is not much of a walker, and she just reacted “oh yeah, that’s happened to me too.” Men don’t understand this at all: it’s part of being privileged that you just don’t even realize how much you take for granted I guess. I can bet you anything that if a man experienced something like that, something that women experience all the fucking time, they would feel like the most oppressed person in the history of the world.
